Reborn in the Apocalypse: The Cold Wave

In 2018, a cold wave struck, drastically changing Earth's environment and ushering in an ice age. Plunging temperatures, food shortages, and mutations in plants and animals made survival incredibly difficult for humanity. Gu Weiwei struggled to survive alone in the post-apocalyptic world for thirty years, but after an accident, she was reborn before the disaster began. With a second chance at life, just watch her turn the tables against all odds. First, though, she has to win over the man who had a secret crush on her in her previous life and eventually died for her. This is really just the story of Weiwei and her beloved rekindling their romance and working together with their family to survive the frigid apocalypse. This is a disaster apocalypse story with a cozy farming theme. Read or leave as you please, and leave comments if you feel like it. A small portion of the story involves BL couples. Read with caution if that's not your thing. Upcoming novel: A Record of Farming Through the Apocalypse +++In 2028, a volcanic eruption in Iceland marks the beginning of the apocalypse. The world's four major volcanic belts erupt one after another, and ash blankets the entire Earth. Earthquakes, torrential rains, floods, hailstorms, infectious diseases, rising sea levels, extreme heat, and bone-chilling cold follow in their wake. Humanity faces disasters on an unprecedented scale. While traveling in Shennongjia, Tang Xue unexpectedly falls into a coma and dreams for twenty years. In that dream, she experiences firsthand the apocalyptic disasters that are about to come. When she wakes, she has a new little companion: a mutated climbing vine with the ability to devour things, exactly like the one in her dream. In her dream, Tang Xue suffers through every hardship the apocalypse has to offer. Things only start to improve when she unexpectedly acquires the mutated vine. This time, she swears she won't let her entire family perish. She absolutely refuses to eat bugs, tree bark, and mud cakes ever again, to become skin and bones and freeze until her body is covered in sores during the harsh winter, or to get so thirsty that she has to drink urine and nearly dry up like a corpse in the sun. This time, she is determined to eat well, drink her fill, and live happily through the apocalypse. She works hard to build a house, stock up on supplies, and raise a child (the mutated climbing vine). Once the child grows up and bears seeds, Tang Xue begins her farming life at home and rarely goes out. (Keep a low profile and quietly make a fortune.) After the apocalypse In outsiders' eyes, Tang Xue is the luckiest person in the Tang family: the only girl in three generations, with a large and capable family. Even after disaster strikes, she can still stay home and be a happy little freeloader. The Tang family: ???? If you ask the Tang family's little ones who their favorite person is, it has to be their little aunt. She can not only cook delicious meals, but also make cakes, pastries, candy, snacks, drinks, and more... She can't make toys, though. But that's okay, because Brother Jiang Yu next door can. He can also make furniture, build houses, and repair appliances. There's pretty much nothing he can't do, except cook! Theme: Life is a journey, and I too am a traveler.
