[The Hunger Games] Now This Is How It Should Go

Looking back as an adult, I realize how embarrassingly chuunibyou my old writing was, but I don't want to revise it. I'll try to keep writing it, whenever inspiration strikes. >, Leah's only wish is to wait for her childhood friend Cato to return victorious, then live happily with him. But Leah is suddenly told by her father, Livor, who has never liked her, that her biological father is someone else, and that he's in the capital. To repay her adoptive father and uncover the truth, Leah has no choice but to compete alongside Cato in the same Hunger Games. As she unravels one mystery after another, Leah gets caught up in a series of conspiracies. A few warnings: 1. Katniss and Peeta lose their protagonist plot armor and are certain to die. 2. The heroine's origins are a bit melodramatic. 3. Some parts of the setting have been changed, so please don't nitpick. In short, this is a story about original heroine Leah and her childhood friend Cato loving each other dearly.

Inspired by my frustration with the male and female leads' ridiculously strong Gary Stu and Mary Sue auras in the movies.
