Master Shi Yukun left behind the line, "Bai Yutang's spirit saves the magistrate," and never continued the story. It has always been a great regret of mine. So, whenever I revisit the story, I can't bear to read any further. I can only imagine what kind of bearing and grace belonged to the person described as, "Another man came up. Dressed as a martial performer, he was handsome and bright-eyed, with a youthful air." The sight made Zhan Ye set down his wine cup and quietly applaud, then take another careful look, feeling quite envious.
Still, I have adapted that line in the end, if only to make up for a small regret of my own. I hope the old master, looking down from heaven, won't hold it against me.
Have you finally waited for the third part?
Will the author update again? The writing is superb!
