The Scum Gong in This Angsty Novel Is Still Trying His Best Today!

They were supposed to be scummy tops who forced themselves on the protagonist bottom, gouged out his heart and kidneys, and tortured him body and soul. But one day, they suddenly awakened... Scum top Cheng Jiming fell in love with the neighbor boy he'd raised himself. But the boy had a free spirit and the makings of a heartthrob. He was supposed to lock him up so he couldn't see anyone but him. But anyone who'd completed nine years of compulsory education knew that was illegal, and besides, he was a famous lawyer. Still, the System forced him to torment the boy. "At the very least, keep him from leaving the house for a year!" After a moment's thought, Cheng Jiming piled a thick stack of books on criminal procedure, civil procedure, and civil law in front of his academically challenged younger friend. "Pass the bar exam, and I'll buy you that motorcycle you love." Then he brushed his hands off and told the System, "He won't be able to leave the house for at least two years." System: ... Scum top Doctor Lu had a frail, beloved first love and a devoted stand-in. He was supposed to use his position to transplant the stand-in's kidney into his first love. Lu Chen: ??? Even if I weren't a lawyer, I'd know that's illegal! But the System forced him to torment the stand-in. "Even if it's not a kidney, you have to give your first love something from the stand-in!" After a moment's thought, Lu Chen took the stand-in to a barbershop, made a wig from his cut hair, dyed it green, and put it on his first love's head. System: ... Scum top Bai Heng was supposed to torture the top student who'd always outshone him back in school, body and soul. Bai Heng: ??? He's not a sadist, and he has no interest in that. Besides, it's illegal! But the System insisted he had to torment him. "Emotional torture is hard to measure. Physically, at least make him ache all over so badly he can't even get up!" After careful consideration, Bai Heng opened a travel agency for the top student, who'd gone bankrupt, and made him take tourists up Mount Tai seven days a week. After one failure after another, the System started losing it. But Bai Heng had a perfectly reasonable defense: "Just tell me, is he sore or not? Does he want to get back on his feet or not?" System: ... A series of sweet stories. Look forward to more scum tops! Theme: Stand on your own two feet and keep striving.
