A Great Demon Ancestor Came to Stay at My House

When Feng Yao started his first year of high school, he thought his days would be just like everyone else's: five years of exam prep and three years of mock tests. But after having strange dreams for a while, his mother forced him to recite an incantation left behind by their ancestors, summoning a powerful demon who had made a pact with one of them. Feng Yao: What kind of demon is this? I clearly summoned an ancestor! Feng Zhao: Xiao Yao, I want bamboo shoots stir-fried with pork. Hurry up and make me some! Xiao Yao, go buy me an iron pot to chew on! Xiao Yao, I want to hang around the zoo for a few days and drink milk from a bottle! Xiao Yao, I want a color photo, in my true form! Xiao Yao... Feng Yao: ... What gave Feng Yao an even bigger headache was that this "ancestor" was impossible to please, and the demons the "ancestor" summoned were even more troublesome. Can someone tell Feng Yao why the divine beast Zhushu from the Classic of Mountains and Seas has become a famous doctor specializing in infertility? Why has Bifang opened a barbecue restaurant? And why is the celebrity driving countless people wild actually a peacock who loves to strut and pose? Special note: This story is set in an alternate world. All demons who gained humanlike sentience in this story did so before 1949. For the latest new story, click here: The Queen's Poise Theme:
