Plum Blossoms Like Snow

Ever since waking in the rain beside a deserted grave,

Xiang Rugu has understood clearly

that she is no longer who she used to be.

She is like duckweed with no roots,

drifting wherever the water takes her.

She asks for very little,

only hoping to meet someone who understands her,

who cherishes her and pities her,

who understands feelings as delicate as plum blossoms.

But after the snow falls,

Rugu finally discovers

how bone-chilling it is when snow settles on plum branches.

Why would Heaven treat her this way?

One hardship after another,

and she doesn’t know why. She only knows that from this moment on, her life will take a new course.

Powerless to change anything, she can only face it with indifference…
