Crossover Films and TV: The Golden Finger Turns the Tide

I'm in a reading slump lately. I've read so many fanfics based on TV and movies, and unfortunately I've finished all the good ones. Hardly anyone writes the characters I like, so I'll just have to do it myself. I like a lot of supporting characters from different shows. They're so adorable! I'm starting a new story today. I'll go home tonight and work on an outline. This is only my second time writing a novel, but I'll make sure to do a good job this time. No more going in unprepared: no outline, no backlog, and no clue what I'm doing.

For now, here are the characters I'd like to write about:

1. Xu Yi from The Left Ear. His story is just too tragic. He's exactly my type, and he's the most innocent one in the whole film. He shouldn't have ended up like that.

2. Qi Tiezui from The Mystic Nine. There are so many pairings for Buddha and Er Ye, and I've even seen some for Zhang the Adjutant. I think Ba Ye is so adorable. Why doesn't anyone love him?

3. Siming from Three Lives, Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. As a mortal, I both love and fear Siming, who can rewrite my life. Besides, he's adorable, too.

4. Ming Lou from The Disguiser. Actually, he's the reason I'm starting this story. The earlier ones are low-level side quests to build up the protagonist's strength. I just can't resist a genius heartthrob.

5. Jiang Zhe from W: Two Worlds. After all these years of watching TV dramas, he's the first to discover the real world from the fictional one and come out into it. That imagination deserves a thumbs-up.

That's all for now. I need to rewatch the shows, since I paid so much attention to the leads' looks that I barely noticed the plots. Hopefully, by the time I finish writing, the buzz won't have died down. (Actually, I haven't watched some of these shows. I've only read other people's fanfics, so I know the general story.)
