A Supply and Marketing Cooperative Clerk in the Late 1970s

A second-year college student wakes up forty years in the past. Apart from having the same name, everything else is completely unfamiliar.

The only child, a pampered "little emperor," has become a penniless young man with a whole family to support.

His comfortable family life, with white-collar parents, has been replaced by utter poverty, dead parents, and a grandmother who can't do heavy farm work.

His younger siblings are clamoring to be fed.

Wi-Fi, television, phones: all out of reach.

What? They don't even have electric lights or mosquito coils?

The 1970s and 1980s were poor times, but they also brought unexpected life experiences and joys. Yu Weiqing struggles through the poverty his parents knew as children, finding happiness along the way. He gives up on college, becomes a supply-and-marketing cooperative worker, and leads his younger siblings toward prosperity, before unexpectedly falling into an unforeseen romance.
