The Glory of the Zerg

An early work. The logic is dead, so proceed with caution.

An ancient immortal, An Muxiu, born in the primordial era, wandered the mortal world for a thousand years, experiencing the joys and sorrows of life and its countless entanglements. At last, he sighed, “People! How dull.” Then he returned to his immortal abode and went into seclusion to sleep.

Question: Isn't seclusion for cultivation?

“I was born from the Great Dao of the primordial era, and my immortal status transcends the Heavenly Dao. Why would I need to cultivate?”

He slept for a hundred years. When he opened his eyes, he discovered that he had turned into a bug?!

Life as an immortal bug was just as wonderful.

You say male bugs are generally weak? Let me show you what it means to despair before true power.

Mutant bugs launch a massive attack? I can turn beans into soldiers.

Scheming and plotting. I hear you want to mess with me? I'll just divine it with a few fingers, and the entire eighteen generations of your bug clan will be in the palm of my hand.

A useless bug with a low-grade bloodline? I'll wave my sleeve and reshape your bones and bloodline, turning you into a superior bug.

Before he knew it, he'd attracted a whole garden of admirers. Somehow, he became the hero who saved the world, a shining star of the bug race. But he was still a straight male immortal who liked little fairies.
