A fun little idea, written just to get it out of my system. Nothing more!
Male player character in a female body. Flirting throughout. Swords X Master.
In a nutshell: A domineering male protagonist is forced to change sex and become a female Master. She starts out with ulterior motives toward the sword warriors, but they teach her about love and peace. The protagonist was originally a powerful sword-spirit master. After awakening her bloodline and for other reasons, she transforms into a girl and becomes a Master. She goes from using and distrusting the sword warriors to working alongside them. In the story, eight Chinese swords choose their respective sword warriors as successors, serving as the former guardian spirits. This is a sweet story about pure protection and being protected.
[Lots of fanon additions] Special settings:
1. Only women can become Masters.
2. The Time-Space Administration has a Japan Division, a Huaxia Division, and a Europe Division.
Japan Division: Masters and sword warriors
Huaxia Division: Sword-spirit masters and sword spirits
3. No character bashing. They're all the author's little angels. No angst, no fighting, just sweetness.
4. Unrestrained wish fulfillment for all swords, regardless of nationality.
5. Swords X Master. There's flirtation throughout but no definite pairing. It can also be read as a series of one-on-one side stories strung together.
6. Amateur writing, new to the sword fandom, severe OOC__________________________________________________________
PS: I know lots of people only read the parts about their favorite sword warriors, so here's a rough guide:
Chapters 1-2: Some background and setup for the protagonist. You won't miss much if you skip them, but I still hope you'll start from the beginning.
Chapters 2-10: Main focus: Kashu Kiyomitsu (the character with the most screen time so far, and the most appearances)
Chapters 11-15: Main focus: Tsurumaru Kuninaga; secondary focus: Sayo Samonji (Tsurumaru has gotten the most fanservice so far)
Chapters 16-29: Main focus: Heshikiri Hasebe and Ichigo Hitofuri (Hasebe has had the roughest time so far. Even when he gets a sweet moment, there's a shard of glass in it. Ichigo Hitofuri is more carefree and above it all. Like Tsurumaru, he hasn't suffered much, but he's gotten plenty of fanservice.)
Chapters 30-36: Main focus: Taro Tachi, Kousetsu Samonji, and Kogitsunemaru (Starting with Ichigo Hitofuri, the protagonist doesn't necessarily interact only with her own swords. After all, like the author, she's a super-unlucky Master from the depths of Africa, and she can't flirt with enough people using only the swords she owns...)
The author is a mix of Kashu Kiyomitsu and Ookurikara: sensitive and not good with words. Every comment, message, and word of encouragement means a lot to me. Many times, when I felt like I couldn't keep writing, I'd suddenly see someone cheering me on or commenting on the story, and I'd be happy enough to write several more chapters...
