A Hunter's Guide to the Jianghu

Great people save the world, and pure-hearted people save others. The capable are always burdened with more. So as an ordinary person like me, all I can do is hold on to myself and not lose who I am in this strange and dazzling world. All the bitterness and sweetness settles with time. The things we want to keep, and those we don't, are carried away by the current like silt on a riverbed, no one knows where. Deep down, I know no one is deliberately distancing themselves from me. I'm just standing still, bewildered and at a loss. I seem to remember someone once saying, "Death is the least frightening thing in the world." But why, when someone like me has already died once, do I still face "death" with such overwhelming fear and despair? I want to live. I want to live well. That's all.
