The Young Master of Linzhi [Dream of the Red Chamber]

Wen Yishu had a father who served as the Suzhou Weaving Commissioner, and a younger sister who had been frail and sickly since childhood. Perhaps his father had been far too devoted and conscientious in his official duties. So the emperor gave him another post: Salt Administration Inspector for the Lianghuai region. But less than half a year after taking up the post, his father worked himself to death. With no other choice, his sister continued living as a nun in all but name, despite her frail health, while he took the family's surviving fortune and hid away at his teacher's home, keeping a low profile and pretending not to be around. After six months of this, he discovered that the Lianghuai Salt Inspector had been replaced by someone new, a man named Lin Ruhai... His sister says she is an outsider to the mortal world. So what does that make him? He is the one least interested in fame and fortune, and the one most fond of luxury and extravagance. He is the one surrounded by pretty pages and extravagant maids when he goes out, riding in a fragrant carriage drawn by fine horses. He is the dissolute young master who gets drunk at the Red Sleeve House and squanders his wealth in dens of pleasure. P.S. 1. Reincarnated as Miaoyu's older brother. A steely prince X a dissolute young master. 2. Complete. No mindless bashing of the Jia family or Jia Baoyu. One-on-one romance.
