A Willow in a Tang Dynasty Apartment

Everyone else transmigrates, so I transmigrated too. Maids and princesses are everywhere; the lovely Jiangnan maidens are graceful and refined, while the women of the desert are bold and spirited. A chubby little snail clung to a willow branch, swaying its antennae as it recited its “poem” with dramatic, self-satisfied flair. When it finished, it felt terribly pleased with itself. The Tang Dynasty really was different. Bathed in the spring breeze of this age of poetry, even I had become a poet. No, a poet-snail. As a breeze drifted by, the tree gently swayed its outstretched branches, looking utterly graceful. The snail pondered for a long time. Was that willow tree spirit just trying to comfort it, or was it making fun of it?!
