First, I should explain how this story came about:
Step one: Bored, I accidentally clicked on the TV drama The Legend of Chusen, got hooked, and fell in love with Tian Pangpang.
Step two: I started reading the original novel, Zhu Xian. After staying up all night, I decided it was too long and searched for a plot summary. When I found out Tian Pangpang dies later on, I immediately dropped the novel at around 33 percent.
Step three: I started scouring the internet for fanfiction and fan-made videos. After watching a short video on Bilibili, I liked Tian Pangpang and Zhang Xiaofan even more.
Step four: On the Tieba forum I’d been visiting for years, I found a story that really hit all my favorite buttons. Unfortunately, its author hadn’t updated in ages, so I decided to write my own...
So this is a story based mainly on the novel’s canon, with the TV drama as a secondary influence. It also incorporates settings from other fanworks and scenes from some fan-made videos, all inspired by my imagination.

Teacher, I searched for your article on Baidu three or four years ago. I only read a few excerpts from the first and second parts. I really like this pair of masters and apprentices. I really like the tough-talking and soft-hearted master! But I haven't registered in Jinjiang. It's my fourth or fifth time. I suddenly want to tell you that your book is the most beautiful and well-written book I have ever read. It made me cry while reading it. There is the determination to be reborn, the warmth of Xiaozhujian, and of course a particularly handsome counter-kill plot. It's really exciting!!! I was fascinated by watching it while holding my mobile phone... It can be said that I downloaded Jinjiang for the sake of my teacher! Although the teacher may not be able to see it, I still want to say that I really, really like it!!!!
He is not alone. Please beat him and deal with him severely.
Is it really gone? The extra story is so big 😭 😭 😭
This is really gone... I have watched it twice...
Wow haha, I know which post it is. I read it before and it touched my heart. I didn't expect you to actually write it out. It's great.
Author, anyone else? Long time no follow
The writing is very good. Generally speaking, I don't want to read any more novels. But I read this one to the end. It's great!
Did the male protagonist really end up with the master? Well, in fact, if you just fulfill your filial piety, you can save the master's life, and let the master live a happy life with subtle hints. This article describes the relationship between the male protagonist and the master in too much detail. I always feel that the male protagonist's affection for the master exceeds the affection between father and son, which makes people feel a sense of violation.
Why didn't he go back to Dazhu Peak if he wasn't dead? He deserved a beating.
It's been 7 months. When will you come back?
