Your Highness, Flirt and Then Run?

This is the story of a flirtatious, amorous prince who takes the initiative to flirt with the aloof, scheming chancellor who has always secretly loved him. After flirting with him, the prince regrets it and tries to run, only to be thoroughly devoured by the chancellor. Lord Sima: How long have you been seeing Chancellor Lan? Third Prince: Not long. I've just been spending a little more time with Ziqing these past few days. Lord Sima: From now on, spend less time with Chancellor Lan. Third Prince: Why? Lord Sima: You're simple-minded and speak without thinking. If you accidentally offend Chancellor Lan, won't you bring trouble upon yourself? Third Prince: No, I won't. Ziqing is gentle and indifferent by nature. Even if I do accidentally offend him, he would never hurt me. Lord Sima: A man who secured the chancellorship in just three years is gentle and indifferent by nature?! Don't forget how former Chancellor Song Guang was convicted and imprisoned, and how his entire clan was executed! Third Prince: ...Song Guang abused his power and treated human lives like nothing... It had nothing to do with Ziqing. Lord Sima: Even if Song Guang deserved to die, did the rest of his clan deserve to die too?! Third Prince: This... Lord Sima: Song Guang had served His Majesty for many years, and numerous ministers pleaded on his behalf. His Majesty had already relented and sentenced only Song Guang to death, sparing his clan and exiling them beyond the border. But Chancellor Lan wouldn't let it go. He cited a whole series of laws and forced His Majesty to execute the entire clan! Third Prince: … Lord Sima: Your grandfather only says this for your own good. Chancellor Lan may seem mild and gentle on the surface, but he's actually deeply calculating, gloomy, and cold-hearted. If you associate with him, you'll only come to harm. Third Prince: … Three months later, the Third Prince woke up in Chancellor Lan's bed. Remembering Lord Sima's words, he couldn't help sighing. He really had "come to harm." 1. A sweet, gentle, naive puppy-like top who loves everyone x a seemingly mild and indifferent but actually scheming, brooding bottom. 2. The top is naturally amorous and loves beautiful people; the bottom is extremely possessive. 3. Younger top. 4. One-on-one romance, happy ending. 5. A fast-burning romance focused on their relationship, warm and sweet, with just a little angst. Important: This isn't a top-perspective story in the strictest sense. The top is a sweet, naive fool, while the bottom is irresistible, scheming, and ruthless. If that's not your thing, please don't read. Content note: Regarding the top-perspective label, although the story is marked as top-perspective, the bottom's perspective actually gets more attention. Since it has been labeled top-perspective throughout serialization, it's hard to change it to bottom-perspective now. If that bothers you, please don't read. Author's Weibo: Jiujiu Yu Feifei.
