"Father, how did Mother ever fall for you?" little Ouyang asked, baffled.

His father smiled faintly. "Because your mother was so captivated by your father's good looks that she couldn't help herself."

"But Cousin says you cried, threw tantrums, and even threatened to hang yourself just to get Mother to marry you," little Ouyang said, pouting in disbelief.

"The crying and tantrums are true... The hanging part is a bit exaggerated." Ouyang Ke opened his folding fan and pondered.

This is a story about someone being rescued time and again, then offering herself in marriage.

Wondering who rescued whom?

1. Ouyang Ke, young lord of White Camel Mountain, x Wanyan An, a princess of the Great Jin. The heroine has a golden finger. PS: The heroine did not transmigrate.

2. The overall story follows Jin Yong's original work, with some elements borrowed from the TV adaptations. Since this is fan fiction, some things will inevitably be changed. (The biggest plot hole is the timeline, which I'll explain in the story. The overall direction remains unchanged, but I've shortened some of the gaps of over ten years between events.) Please don't force yourself to read if you can't accept that.
