Learning to hide behind her man and play a sweet, silly little thing who needs looking after doesn't seem so bad, either.
The romance develops rather slowly.
This isn't pure romance. There'll be some focus on friendship, as well as some classic plot points from the original series.
The male lead is Zoro, and that's set in stone! (Though people did question it early on because the romance was slow to develop.)
As for a second male lead, if there is one, it'll probably be Kid.
The heroine is pretty strong (she has to get a few cheats so she can save Ace), and she might show off now and then, but she won't steal the spotlight from the main characters.
This is my first story. I have no outline or saved chapters, and I'm just letting it all fly. There are a ton of problems.
