A couple of days ago, while going through my manuscripts, I found another story in the same series as this short piece. I wrote this story on Jinjiang years ago. I wasn't signed to a contract back then, and hardly anyone read it. After thinking it over, I decided to use my old pen name to request that the original be deleted, then revise and repost it so both short stories could see the light of day again. Don't ask why I didn't use my current pen name. It has nothing but embarrassing old work and abandoned projects I dug myself into. We all have to move forward! Ahem! This is the author's attempt at a different style (literary fiction). It's a short story in eight parts, updated daily, and the whole thing is complete, so please enjoy. It's about a young scholar and his senior fellow disciple secretly loving each other. One has realized his feelings, while the other hasn't caught on yet.
