The King Sent Me to Patrol the Mountain

A little peach tree spirit who came to life before the founding of the nation most regretted being born in the wrong era: he couldn't even get a bite of Tang Monk's flesh. When he woke up, he had become a low-ranking monster patrolling Rabbit King Mountain in the Western Ox Continent. The Rabbit King had three thousand monsters under his command, and he was one of the most insignificant. But he'd heard the Rabbit King loved peaches. Your Majesty, Your Majesty, have some of my peaches, and give me a bite of Tang Monk's flesh! But his Rabbit King was a vegetarian who didn't eat Tang Monk's flesh? No way. He had to persuade him, explain the pros and cons, and tell him why eating Tang Monk's flesh was essential, and why they should share the meat. Peach: %^&*))#%##@^ and on and on... What? You've developed a taste for meat, but you only want to eat me? Wait, Your Majesty, maybe you should go back to being a good vegetarian rabbit... -- The story takes place after Tang Sanzang and his companions overcame eighty-one trials, successfully obtained the scriptures, and completed their mission. Everyone knew their story, so every few years, another group of people would imitate them, hoping to see if they could become Buddhas the same way. To that end, the Great Tang even put together some kind of scripture-seeking show. The monsters' reaction: What idiots! They've brought us food again! Probably a short, adorable little story.
