The Daydreamer Under the Banyan Tree

The dream goes on

Eyes that cannot see the sun

And yet, sometimes

I still hear a song

Surrounded by its rhythm

Like a bright fleck of color

In a slushie on a summer afternoon

Existing only in memory

Even when it suddenly comes to mind, it is something to cherish
