When Things Go Awry, Something Strange Is Afoot

The whole story in one sentence: When things go against the norm, there's bound to be something strange going on! Lin Chen, who has both the yin-yang eyes and autism, joins a company of monsters called Walking with Monsters. Taking life as it comes, Lin Chen begins a hilarious daily life among monsters. (P.S. If it's not funny, that's definitely the idiot author's fault.)

The early chapters aren't great, but this silly cat will work hard from here on out.

A divine beast Bai Ze gong, born with poor emotional intelligence but working hard to improve it, X the Yellow Emperor's son shou, who craves love and security.

Main CP: Bai Ze X Lin Chen

Side CPs: Hu Ruo X Xiao Ran, Ci Jiu, and all kinds of male-male, male-female, and female-female couples.

Really, this is just a story about all kinds of couples between monsters and humans. There's no scheming or intrigue; that stuff has nothing to do with the protagonists. It's just a whole bunch of monsters falling in love.

1v1, HE.

A sweet, doting romance all the way, no explanation needed.

Walking with Monsters brings you the thousand-year-old snake demon Bai Su, the adorable kitty Alice, a sharp-tongued rabbit, a scheming snake... there's something for everyone. This story brings you monsters unlike any you've seen before. The monster lore is drawn from the Classic of Mountains and Seas and the game Onmyoji.

Updated daily. I'm terrible at writing blurbs, my prose is poor, and logic is dead. Just enjoy reading, and don't sweat the details, meow~?ω?

Somewhere along the way, the story went off track. So this became a crossover fanfic, with monsters from mythology, novels, and the game Onmyoji.
