Also known as: A Long Song of the Great Qian
Blurb (provisional):
Xia Zhenzhen transmigrates into a book and becomes Lin Wanzhen, the pitiful cannon-fodder supporting female character.
At first, she thinks this is an ordinary transmigration mishap. She sets out to change the fate of the original character, while trying to avoid the Lin family's impending doom.
Gradually, as clues surface one by one, she realizes things are very different from what she once believed.
The cannon-fodder male supporting character has been reborn, and he's grown suspicious of her.
As the two test and cooperate with each other, they find themselves drawn to one another despite themselves.
Just as Xia Zhenzhen thinks she's simply transmigrated into a familiar story about two cannon-fodder characters turning their lives around and falling in love, she slowly learns from the male lead's memories of his past life and the various clues surrounding them that their transmigration and rebirth are not so simple.
Only after the truth is finally revealed can she piece together what really happened.
It turns out this is a story of her and two men, spanning three lives and four lifetimes.
Please note: The Cannon Fodder has no outline or chapters written in advance. It began as a story sparked by an idea, and for various reasons updates have been sporadic since the 300,000-word mark. The story has dragged on for too long, the author's writing has faltered, and there's no telling when it will be finished. Read at your own risk.
Anti-piracy setting: 80%. Thank you, lovely readers, for following this story all the way. Whether you're still here or not, I'll keep writing. Thank you for all your support! *bows*
I absolutely will not abandon this story!
Reader's Guide:
1. A woman who transmigrates into a book x a reborn man. Fictional setting with plenty of original worldbuilding. An unconventional story spanning three lives and four lifetimes, with a touch of a harem-like appeal, ensemble cast, political intrigue, and revenge. The female and male leads' perspectives take up roughly 70:30 of the story. Happy ending.
2. Original work. The story is fictional and includes plenty of original worldbuilding. Please don't nitpick historical accuracy. Reposting on external sites is prohibited.
3. Not a wish-fulfillment story, not a story about a superwoman, and not updated daily. The author's first historical romance, written without much of a plan, purely to satisfy a personal craving and let the story run wild. Kind criticism is welcome, but please don't pick fights in bad faith. If you insist on arguing, you can have the last word. I hope we can treat each other with respect.
Next historical romance, now in pre-publication: The Stepmother Villain's Splendid Life (A slice-of-life story, definitely launching in 2027. Please add it to your collection. *bows*)
Provisional blurb:
Xu Yinyin opens her eyes to find that she's transmigrated into an unfinished novel, becoming the stepmother of the story's villainous male supporting character.
Her late husband has left her three stepsons and two stepdaughters. The original character raises them all with great hardship and continues to support the villainous son through his studies. The boy lives up to her hopes, passing every exam and rising steadily through the ranks as an official. While still young, he even earns her an honorific title. But in the end, the whole family is sentenced to death and their property confiscated because the villainous son takes part in a prince's rebellion.
"..."
The plot is so harrowing that Xu Yinyin nearly has a heart attack.
She looks at the house, now completely bare after the funeral, then at the cold-faced young scholar, the villain, sitting at the table and slurping his porridge, along with all the children of every age. She tries to find a silver lining: at least she still has decades to live.
She'll figure out a way forward as she goes!
Xu Yinyin secretly resolves to give the children's values a complete overhaul. She doesn't expect them to achieve great things in the future. She only hopes they won't bring disaster down on their family and relatives. She doesn't want to spend decades working herself to the bone to keep the family fed, only to reach old age without enjoying a peaceful life and end up dead along with the whole family because of her descendants.
Having made up her mind, Xu Yinyin picks up a wooden basin with one broken corner and, braving the bitter cold, knocks on the door of Auntie Zhang next door. She needs to borrow some rice first.
What's pride worth? If she wants a peaceful life, she has to start by raising the kids and lifting the family out of poverty!
Modern romance, now in pre-publication: You Outshine a Thousand Stars
Blurb (provisional):
Wen Xuxu first meets award-winning actor Xu Zhe when they both join a long-running dating reality show that's lost some of its popularity.
At the end of the first day of filming, one of their fellow cast members is exposed in a scandal and quits the show overnight. With the internet in an uproar and the program on the verge of cancellation, a director she knows asks Wen Xuxu to step in as a last-minute replacement. She'll have to interact with the award-winning actor according to the script and pretend they're a couple to draw attention to the show.
Wen Xuxu looks over the contract just handed to her. Seeing the payment, she thinks of her mortgage, car loan, and credit loan. The refusal on the tip of her tongue turns into: "I don't have a problem with it, but Mr. Xu might be the one who loses out."
Xu Zhe glances up, thinks of his fierce fans, then softens his gaze. "Sure. I don't have a problem with it either."
A sweet-and-savory, tea-like rising starlet VS a cool, aloof, scheming top-tier star

Theme: Never bow to fate.
I always feel that from the beginning to this point, the author doesn't quite approve of what he has written. I think the writing is quite smooth, and the content is relaxed, pleasant, sweet, and a little bit thoughtful. My husband praised a female video author for the first time. He said it was rare to find an author who was down-to-earth and not awkwardly packed with flowery words. He said that Dream of Red Mansions describes characters with low eyebrows and smiles, and Langya Bang depicts Mei Changsu supporting characters with a fur furnace, which creates a picture and three-dimensionality, instead of the eyes that I heard some novels are so lacking in content that they can't move around. He said that your writing makes people sound smooth and silky, and the characters are also three-dimensional, not the eyes of this and the eyes of that. I think so too, and I think so after reading the latest chapter, silky~MUA. Have some confidence in yourself
When can I finish writing it? I won't fall into a trap.
Happy holidays, may all good things come in pairs~~
This year has been so difficult, I hope everything will be good in the future!
I fell down today and received several bruises on my leg. It hurts so much. I hope everyone is well.
Please write slowly. Good health is important. You can try modern writing for new articles.
Update when you can, don't be in a hurry, just don't let it be unfinished. Are you interested in writing cheerful food articles in Xinwen? It can make you feel good. There are so many choices in ancient and modern interstellar.
Happy New Year, I wish you good health and all the best. During this time, stay home more and go out less.
Well, don't put too much pressure on yourself, but I still don't want to stop updating.
If you plant one, it will produce many updated chapters.
