I really love Journey to the East, and I can't stop thinking about the lively and spirited Third Princess Long. I lamented that she couldn't be with Han Xiangzi, and was delighted when she and Sun Ying finally ended up together, with a house full of children and her mother by her side. I believe she'll be happy and fulfilled like this forever.
I once desperately hoped that Long's first love would blossom, but I also didn't want Zhenniang's sincere love to go unreturned.
#(good) But what can you do when there's only one Han Xiangzi?
So, this story is going to get complicated. It starts from the ending, with Long not yet married to Sun Ying.
Zhenniang might appear too, though reborn in a new life.
As for whether Long ends up with Sun Ying or Han Xiangzi, either is possible. #(funny)
Sweet Sun Ying, and Brother Han, whom she's admired for so many years. It's hard to imagine the struggle Long went through.
Of course, whatever direction the romance takes and however the story ends, I absolutely wish Long and Sun Ying well. I also believe they, a dragon and a monkey, love each other and are meant to be together.
