Proving the Dao with My Life

I've always felt that I wasn't meant to be born into this world.

My father is the prime minister, and my mother is the emperor's elder sister. I've also been different from others since childhood: I knew a thousand characters by the age of three, could advise my father at eight, and earned an official title before I was even of age.

And yet, even staying alive is difficult for me.

Later, an expert came to our residence and said I had the perfect fate for cultivating immortality. Though I was reluctant to leave, I decided to go.

But after three years of apprenticeship, all that changed was that my body grew stronger. The expert said perhaps he had been mistaken.

I refuse to accept it.

Why? Why can people with less experience than me attain the Dao, while all my painstaking study gets me nothing but, "You can't do it"?

Everyone says I'm unsuited to cultivating immortality. Then I'll forge my own path!

I will...

prove the Dao with my own body!!!

The cultivation stages are taken from Baidu entries:

Cultivation: Foundation Building, Illumination, Integration, Heartbeat, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Out-of-Body, Spirit Division, Body Integration, Void Insight, Great Ascension, Tribulation Transcendence

Immortal cultivation: Loose Immortal, True Immortal, Profound Immortal, Golden Immortal, Great Golden Immortal, Primordial Great Golden Immortal (that is, a Sage)

Gu Xiaoxi is back!!! This is the new story I'm planning to write. I hope you'll like and support it~

I won't abandon it this time!!! I mean it, QAQ!!!

It's been ages since I last wrote, so I hope you won't mind if I'm rusty =3=

One-on-one romance, definitely a happy ending! The top and bottom will grow together! The bottom is very ugly as a child, and the top is physically weak at first, so please don't hold it against them~

Mwah!!!
