Nanba 1310 and Hoshi Taro

This story is based on Nanbaka. It mainly follows the bumpy romance and married life of prisoner No. 1310, Nanba, and guard Shichisei Hoshitaro.

To make the plot flow more smoothly, this story has two major events.

Major events mean angst, and there'll be plenty of it later. Little angels, don't hold back: cry it out, or it won't be good for your heart. (Gives you a comforting rub.)

The heroine is named Fang Yi, a somewhat masculine name. (I'll let you in on a secret: back then, her father thought she was a boy and, without telling his beloved wife, put this name on the household register... Apparently, his wife beat him up pretty badly afterward.) She has a past she'd rather not remember, and later went to prison to take the fall for someone else.

That all sounds rather serious, but the tone of this story is actually light and fun.

Now, on to the plot. The first major event is Fang Yi's difficult release from prison. A month later, she marries Hoshitaro and becomes a guard. She can't help it: she's got the strength for the job. The second major event comes a year later, when Fang Yi gives birth. Before they can even name the baby, Nangong Yi seizes the opportunity to cause trouble by trying to assassinate Hoshitaro. After much hard work and some necessary sacrifices, it still ends in a happy ending!
