Dark Love

What is love?

If love is patient and kind,

if it does not envy or boast, and is not proud; if it does not behave shamefully, seek its own interests, or become easily angered; if it keeps no record of wrongs, does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth;

if love never fails,

then perhaps I do not love you.

I just like having you all to myself. I just like how you patiently obey me. I just like that you only have eyes for me.

Your strength, your body, and your feelings all belong to me.

To me, you matter second only to myself, yet you matter more than the world.

If this is love, then I think it must be dark Love!
