Before setting out, Regulus knew he was certain to die, and he had no regrets. He knew he was doing the right thing. If his death could ensure that the Dark Lord was defeated one day in the future, then he would die without regret.
But, unexpectedly, the very person Regulus wanted to destroy saved him. And that person seemed a little different from what he'd imagined.
