Cerys is a Slience.
Her species is incredibly high-ranking. Throughout the universe, they can do as they please, with the exception of the Central Holy See and one madman whom even the Central Holy See fears. Their only weakness is that they have almost no presence.
Because the genes of the Slience were rewritten, any creature other than their own kind will forget everything they say as soon as it looks away, including the fact that they exist. They are the very definition of out of sight, out of mind.
This doesn't bother Cerys much, until one day a strange, lesser (?) artificial life-form mistakenly takes itself for a human and lodges inside her. When she's forced to travel from world to world and fall in love, Cerys feels the malice of the entire universe for the first time.

A story born from a wild idea.
Since the female lead's species concept was inspired by Doctor Who, this is categorized as a derivative work, but apart from the first world, the plot has little to do with Doctor Who.
