A remote but beautiful mountain village, home to a group of people who keep out of worldly affairs. As the tides of a changing age sweep through, the younger generation gradually leaves the mountains. As beauty enters this quiet village, evil follows close behind. What tangled passions and grievances will a case of bodies sunk in the river bring to light? How much good and evil will it reveal? Does being cut off from the world mean there is no good or evil? Or have we simply never heard of it? Does opening up to the world necessarily extinguish our conscience? Or are we perhaps just too one-sided? This same case also brings to light a disappearance from many years ago. Under the pressure of temptation, have people's hearts changed, or have we given up the principles we once held? Backwardness and progress, poverty and wealth, are not dividing lines between good and evil. A boy who was nearly abandoned grows up to become an agent of justice, while his own brother and his best friend give in to temptation and choose to turn a blind eye. What should he do? The suspects are repeatedly ruled out. Can the real culprit ultimately be brought to justice? Can the simple happiness of the past return? Can this ancient village find peace again?
