They say there is a kind of ghost called a "Body Double Ghost" that usually hides in human society. Once it sets its sights on someone, it hides inside that person's body and follows them for a day, learning their daily routine.
The next day, the Body Double Ghost takes over their body and imitates their usual behavior. If anyone asks, "Are you really him?" at any point during the day, the ghost has no choice but to leave the person's body. If no one questions it within 24 hours, the ghost can occupy the body indefinitely, until it finds another target it likes.
