On the Possibility of a Temple Priest Becoming a Demon Queen

Fu Xian was adopted as a child by the priest at the village earth temple. He finally graduated from college, only to find himself facing the apocalypse. Natural disasters ravaged the Earth, and plants and animals mutated. Luckily, Fu Xian had learned a few tricks from the old priest, and managed to live safely through ten years of the apocalypse. But fate had other plans. One night, while cultivating under the moon, he transmigrated. If he had ended up in an ordinary version of ancient China, Fu Xian would have been over the moon. But he had landed in the world of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, a place teeming with monsters and ghosts. He was as good as dead. Fortunately, the black cat he had raised since it was a kitten, said to have the bloodline of a great demon, had come along with him. But why had the cat he’d raised for over twenty years become a Demon King, and why did it want Fu Xian to bear its kittens?
