"Zhao Li, you have to understand that I'm the one you truly love. Clothes don't matter." Wen Shujie stood outside the bathroom, holding a bathrobe and speaking solemnly to Zhao Li inside.

Excerpt:

It was the same courtyard and the same clothes, but a different night. "Dongqing, will you regret spending this life with me?"

Ya asked solemnly.

"Ya, at least wait until I've lived out this life before asking. How would I know now?" This was probably the only time Xia Dongqing ever caught on.

Shen Zhi x Bi'an (I haven't settled on a name)

I'm terrible at blurbs. This is my first time writing, so please go easy on me. The male lead is Zhao Li, and the original female lead, Wen Shujie, is one of the overseers in the human realm. (In this story, there are many overseers. They are ranked and complete missions to earn rewards. As for the rest, I don't know why they're there either.) This is an idea I came up with after watching "The Ferryman," so please bear with me. Oh, and you might as well know that I'm actually a split personality.
