There's a saying in this world: "People aren't plants or trees, so how could they be without feelings?"
Gu Yan thought it made a lot of sense.
But she's a tree, so expecting her to fall in love is really asking too much of her.
She came to fulfill a deal with her employer, but kept running into one lovestruck person after another.
Gu Yan: "Why does this make me seem like such a jerk?"
[Reading Guide]
1. The heroine is amazing from start to finish. This is not a coming-of-age story!
2. I'm devoted to the heroine, and she won't be put through heartbreak.
3. If you like it, please take a moment to add it to your library! \( ̄︶ ̄*\))
4. I love revising. Whenever I have nothing to do, I go back and reread my work, then fix anything that's accidentally gone off track. So, um, please support the official release.
My next story: The Clear-Headed Villainess After Waking Up [Quick Transmigration]. Feel free to add it to your library from my author page!
Blurb:
Su Yanyan had a dream. In it, she was a character in ten different books, and in every one, she was the vicious supporting character whose role was to make the beautiful, kind heroine shine.
She scoffed at the idea, but when she opened her eyes, she found herself inside the very story from her dream.
What's more, this vicious supporting character had the same name as her, and a face that was a downgraded version of hers...
Arc One:
A third-rate influencer and streamer who broke up with her ex to debut, and her ex, a rising star in the business world.
The male lead at first: "I hate women who can't stay faithful."
Later: "Sign the prenup. I'll buy an entertainment company and make you a star."
Arc Two:
The former girlfriend who went abroad to study and was replaced by her lookalike, and the ex-boyfriend who got dumped after returning home.
The male lead at first: At a banquet after returning home: "Who's that woman? I don't know her."
Later: "You don't know who she is? I have a whole wall of portraits of her at home."
Arc Three:
A crown princess in love with someone else, and a violent, brooding crown prince who was found and brought back after reaching adulthood.
The male lead at first: "I hear she's the childhood friend of the impostor who took my place. She seems fine to me, too. No need to change the crown princess." (That way, I can torment her more easily.)
Later: "Does anyone know how to make the crown princess forget that impostor and love only me?"
Arc Four:
A fake heiress switched at birth, and her childhood friend, who turned dark after they started dating too young.
The male lead at first: "Are you really breaking up with me? Once we do, we're strangers. I won't be your backup plan."
Later: "Who bullied you? Give me a kiss, and I'll get revenge for you."
Arc Five:
The eldest daughter of a cultivation clan, and her former fiance, whose family was destroyed.
The male lead at first: "You can break off the engagement, but don't get carried away. The chief disciple of Qishan, the aloof beauty you've set your sights on, is out of your league."
Later: The male lead defeats Qishan's chief disciple by an overwhelming margin at the swordsmanship tournament and takes first place. "I left something out when you broke off the engagement: you're only good enough for me."
And so on.
P.S.
1. The original protagonists may be portrayed negatively.
2. The heroine's personality will stay as described in the blurb. She won't turn into a gentle, sweet innocent.
3. Everything gives way to reader satisfaction, and when necessary, the plot will take priority too.
