Reborn as Empress

Empress Gu Nanzhi was born into a powerful family and lived a life of endless splendor, only to be betrayed by her husband, the bastard emperor, and meet a tragic end. Her son was killed, her family was condemned, and with her heart turned to ash, she hung a white silk sash from the rafters. Gu Nanzhi kicked away the stool and stared wide-eyed, dying with her eyes open. In her final moments, she saw the great general Shen Qiong rush in with a sword in his hand. "Gu Nanzhi!" he cried out in anguish, but she had already breathed her last. Reborn, Gu Nanzhi returned to the time before she met the bastard emperor. At a palace banquet, he stood before her, handsome and graceful, praising her profusely. "Miss Gu is a peerless beauty. I wonder who will be fortunate enough to marry you one day?" Gu Nanzhi sneered. "Who knows? It won't be you, anyway." She searched the room and finally spotted the cold, ruthless great general. "General, are you only drinking and not eating?" Gu Nanzhi asked in Shen Qiong's direction. He looked up at her, delight shining in his deep, dark eyes. The woman he had cherished in his heart, the unattainable moonlight he had longed for, had actually spoken to him first. Little Scene Gu Nanzhi: "That bastard emperor is bad luck for me." Shen Qiong, gazing at her adoringly: "No problem. We can have someone else be emperor." Theme: Make up for past regrets after being reborn
