[Jin Guang BG] When the Clouds Part, Jade Appears

Beiming Qiong, a low-ranking little princess of the Taixu Sea Realm, is shy and insecure. Since childhood, she has secretly admired Yan Hanqing, a junior official who tastes food for the Imperial Physician. Unfortunately, Yan Hanqing is detached by nature and avoids anything connected to court politics whenever possible. When she finally works up the courage to confess at seventeen, she learns that Yan Hanqing already has someone he likes.

This is a melodramatic, slow-burn story. There's poop in the sugar, and poison in the poop. Read at your own risk!

The canon storylines for the two characters I want to ship are not finished yet, so a lot of the plot and setting details are guesswork. I might get proven wrong later [face-slapping] _(:з"∠)_
