On this continent, everyone believes they are the protagonist. The killer thinks they are heaven's chosen one, and that anyone who dares offend them deserves to die. The person who gets killed thinks they are blessed beyond measure. Isn't being reborn and getting a fresh start already a golden finger? The princess in the tower believes her knight is on his way, so she grows her hair long and waits for him to descend from the heavens. The knight on the road thinks he has boundless charm, and that leveling up by slaying monsters and building a harem will be a piece of cake. Wait... If everyone is the protagonist, then who is the protagonist of this story?!
Author's note: Ah, today is another day for the protagonist to make an appearance.
Comment 1: Keep your dignity in check. This is already the 250th time you've fooled us.
Comment 2: I've already got my knives sharpened...
Comment 3: Huh, isn't this a harem-style leveling-up novel?
Note: This is a cheesy magic novel, with a clichéd story, clichéd characters from every walk of life, clichéd romance, and a clichéd protagonist and their lover. I originally planned to keep the identity of the central character I was writing about a secret until the very last moment. But then I thought about it, and barring any surprises, I should reveal our protagonist's identity around the seventy-percent mark. As you read, you can guess which one is the protagonist I'm writing about, the one this continent favors most. Finding your own enjoyment in the cheesy tropes is also why I wrote this story.
