[Trails in the Sky] The Queen's Marriage

In the year 1208 of the Seven Luminaries Calendar, Liberl announced the most scandalous royal marriage in the kingdom's history. When the heir to the throne, Grand Duchess Claudia von Auslese, took the hand of a former colonel twenty years her senior, more than one newspaper in the Erebonian Empire ran editorials with headlines like "The Queen Marries □□." At the time, no one knew this marriage would go down in history, praised as "a romance worthy of a white princess and a blue knight," and change the fate of an entire nation. The Liberl Communications, the only newspaper to offer the newlyweds its congratulations, commented: The most important things in life never get done when you follow a plan step by step. You have to wait until you truly let go of everything and throw caution to the wind. Well, who can argue with that?
