Nurarihyon's Grandson: Rihan and Yuki

Among the tales told of monsters, there is a legend. The spirits of children who froze to death in winter and animals buried beneath heavy snow gathered together because humans feared the cold and prayed in grief for the children who had died. From them came a monster called Xue You. Like a rabbit, yet not a rabbit; like a fox, yet not a fox. He commands ice and snow. Rather than a monster, he is more like a god who rules over winter. No monster likes to go near him, for he is simply too cold. Another version: Nura Rihyon: Wasn't the one I picked up a great monster who'd lived for hundreds of years?! How did he turn into a little brat, just like that stinky kid, clinging to my wife?! That's my wife! You two, get away from her! [Koi Han and Xue Ling, nestled in Sakura Hime's arms, glanced at the jealous lout. Their eyes were full of scorn.] Nura Rihan: Huh! Is this the scarf the old man got me? [Later, his neck was always wrapped in a cold scarf. It felt great in summer, but was a little too cold in winter.] Sakura Hime: So cuuute~~ It feels like I've got another son~~ [Holding the child-version of Xue Ling, Sakura Hime abandoned her own husband and hugged Xue Ling every day. (It was actually because summer was too hot.)] Xue Ling: Rihan! The General says we can sleep together tonight. [The Supreme General, finally enraged at having his wife monopolized, kicked him out. Why ask him to sleep in his wife's arms? Why not ask Rihan instead?!] Theme:
