This story was originally posted on the Soul Society Chinese Promotion Site (bleachkon) as the Bleach fanfic IF. My ID there was yangyyt. I really love the story itself, though, and when I showed it to a friend, she couldn't understand the fanfic because she hadn't read Bleach.
To make it easier for her to follow, I completely changed the main characters' names. After all, the fanfic is simply a modern-day story.
