My Fiancé Ran Away

Zhaohuan: Like the light.

Thanks for asking. Nobody really calls me that.

My courtesy name is Xiyue, because a certain someone is named Lianhua.

That year, my mother arranged a betrothal between me and the Wang family. My eldest sister married the top-ranked scholar shortly afterward and said she wanted to become kin to the third-place scholar.

That year, my mother, late in life, became pregnant!

That year, I was eight and he was eighteen. I thought... I wanted to marry him.

That year... the man I wanted to marry ran off with another man!!!

This year, I'm eighteen! That man who went into seclusion overseas is twenty-eight!

After leaving the capital, I went to see my niece Shiyin.

That damned man went there before he left, but wouldn't go the extra distance to come into the capital.

It doesn't matter whether I break off the engagement. I don't care if I run away from the wedding.

I just want to ask him to his face... no, I'll kick him flat on his back!
