This is fanfiction based on Wu Hou Fang Qing's A Nonhuman Life for a Scholar-Official of the Northern Song. I was inspired by the interactions between the transmigrated protagonist Zheng Lang and Emperor Renzong, and this is my first time writing. Of course, since I wanted to give them a romantic story from the past, some details have been changed. For instance, Zheng Lang's "big pancake face" has become the face of a refined gentleman, gentle and warm as jade.
