In this world steeped in despair, is victory really possible?
Makoto Naegi works hard with the Future Foundation to fight the Remnants of Despair. Even after defeating Junko Enoshima, the shadow she left in his heart remains. Makoto still doesn't know what he and Junko talked about during the two years he lost.
Ueno Yaboshi is the black-haired boy Makoto rescued. Having lost everything, he meets Makoto at the Future Foundation and gradually falls in love with him. But by the time he finally realizes his feelings for Makoto, it is time for them to part.
Can they really make it through this black-and-white world? And how can Makoto escape the clutches of despair?
I never planned to make this very long, though I'm not sure how long it will turn out to be. I hope I can bring it to a smooth conclusion.
It's mostly told from Makoto and Ueno's individual perspectives, and the other characters don't appear much.
The first few chapters will probably still be setting things up. That's just my writing habit.
