To You, Who Arrived Late

When you like someone,

you often feel like you've sunk low enough to become dust.

Eventually, you even start to wonder

if someone as imperfect as you

could ever be liked by him.

But every silly girl with a secret crush

believes this one thing:

I want to wait a little longer before I give up.

Unrequited love stories rarely have a happy ending where both people like each other, figure it out, and get together.

But I still want to write a story,

one that doesn't go quite so smoothly,

a story about a secret crush.
