Excerpts for appreciation:
The man in the cloak chuckled softly: "We haven't seen you for many years, but your temper is still so bad."
The groom looked at him coldly: "If it weren't for you, why would I go all the way down the mountain? We will settle this account later."
The man in the cloak shrugged and changed the subject: "That girl is running rampant, and you let her do whatever she wants?"
"I can rest assured that she will do the job, and... This is the evidence you want." The groom took out a stack of letters from his arms and threw it to the man with a cold hum. "Back then, the Yellow Feng Army defeated the Barbarian King of the Northwest. This group of people had no good intentions. Now they finally get the opportunity to stir up trouble in front of the emperor, but they don't know that they are being used as pawns."
The man in the cloak took the letter and glanced at it briefly before his expression darkened. He pressed the letter in his hand and said coldly: "Did you accomplish what I asked you to do?"
The groom raised his eyebrows and raised his hand to finish the glass of wine: "What do you think?"
