A short magazine manuscript, published in "Most Reasoning" in August 2014 (Issue 428)
Excerpts for appreciation:
Pingxiu and his new apprentice stood on the hillside and looked at the city that was gradually covered with snow. The red lanterns all over the street seemed to be dazzling blood, making people's eyes sore.
The sound of horse hooves came from behind. Pingxiu turned his head and saw Bai Yunfei's silent face.
"You still owe me one thing." Ping Xiu said.
"I owe you all my life," Bai Yunfei said in a deep voice. "If my father cannot repay, I will take over. If you need me someday, I will come to you."
Ping Xiu curled his lips: "It's a deal, so until then, please live well."
