Looks like I've fallen into a strange rabbit hole.
When I first watched Qian Guang, I only thought the body-double trope was used incredibly well, and didn't feel much chemistry between the CP. But the more videos I watched, the more tragic it seemed, and I felt so sorry for Lord Gongsun.
After deciding to write this, I dug out the original series and watched it again. I missed so many details the first time around. The interactions between the two are so heartbreaking, it's off the charts. Who says they have no chemistry? They obviously have tons of it!!!
