The Producer Is So Innocent

Blurb:

Chu Jie is a born coward. Even when playing games, he always swears by "arguing when you can't win" and "staying on the sidelines." Put nicely, he's cautious. Put bluntly, he's a wimp.

And what's even more exasperating is that when it comes to certain things, this guy is incredibly innocent.

Lu Pingchuan smiled. "Thanks. How come you can't show even a little backbone when it comes to our relationship?"

Chu Jie shook his head. "You were scheming from the start, while I just went along with your plan. That's called being clever!"

Chu Jie's Q&A: What's the luckiest thing that's ever happened to you?

A: I became a game developer and made the Atelier Strategy Edition and the Rune Sword series.

Q: Anything unforgettable about your game-development career?

A: My best friend dragged me into a shady deal and sold my dignity to make a gay dating game.

Q: Anything you regret?

A: Meeting Lu Pingchuan.

Q: Anything else you want to say?

A: Huang He, you bastard, get over here and let me give you a buff!

PS:

1. Set in the near future, around... the Unreal 8 era? A partly fictional setting, a sweet slice-of-life story: indulgent, innocent, and sweet.

2. The top is a pure-hearted, straightforward, occasionally dimwitted (crossed out) goofball (crossed out). The bottom acts arrogant to everyone else but is a devoted puppy at home (crossed out), a lovesick stalker (crossed out).

4. Huang He is the top's best buddy, a straight man, and he really didn't withhold anyone's wages before jumping off a building with his sister-in-law.
