The Demon Lord Doesn't Want to Be Reborn

The conflict between the righteous and demonic paths rages on, and the world is in chaos. Fu Jiuqing, an Immortal Venerable of the righteous path, challenges Yu Qianqui, a Demon Venerable of the demonic path, to a duel atop Mount Kongmeng at sunset. Born a demon, Yu Qianqui is ruthless in his methods and carefree by nature. He has roamed the demonic path for a thousand years, living freely and without a care. Yet at the end, he has one regret: accepting the challenge to a duel from Fu Jiuqing, the Immortal Venerable of the righteous path. Born with an immortal constitution, Fu Jiuqing cultivated in an icy valley for a thousand years, day and night, protecting all the people of the world and answering to neither Heaven nor Earth. Yet there is one person to whom he owes a debt: Yu Qianqui, who came simply to answer the challenge, only to be ambushed by the immortals and forced into a reincarnation formation. * A reincarnation formation crafted with every means at the immortals' disposal sends Fu Jiuqing, an Immortal Venerable on the verge of having his soul scattered, and Yu Qianqui, a lively Demon Venerable, back together to a thousand years earlier. A thousand years of cultivation vanish overnight, and he is left with chronic ailments. Yu Qianqui is ready to curse up a storm! Yu Qianqui: "I damn well don't want to be reborn with you! I don't want to spend a thousand years together with you again, not one bit! I really, really don't! [Furious]!" Fu Jiuqing: "Without me, you can't go back." Yu Qianqui: "╰ (‵□′)╯" When the righteous and demonic factions learn the truth, everyone is left dumbfounded: The two bigwigs have eloped together into the past. Are we still supposed to keep fighting this war? (????). What a bother! A few notes: 1. The protagonist is the receiving partner; an exhilarating cultivation-progression story. 2. The story will start when the time is right, and once it starts, it will be completed. 3. An ascetic, aloof immortal as the pursuing partner VS a ruthless demon lord as the receiving partner.
