I prefer pure romance and sweet stories, though I’ll occasionally read a crematorium-style regret story. The romance has to make sense and be sweet! The protagonist should be loved for their character or because they’re genuinely adorable. I’ll read anything!

Lighthearted, Sweet BL Novels for Rereading

For my own records and rereading. The plots have their ups and downs, but overall I think they’re sweet. I’m a chaotic omnivore with few dealbreakers. Anyone with requirements about first times or a preferred dynamic should steer clear.

I’m not devoted to any particular character type. The romance is sweet, with a little angst in the plot here and there, and the couples all get their happily-ever-afters. I can handle an unusual writing style, but not childish prose. Updating regularly.

BL: If the Top Isn't in Control, What's the Point?

Most feature a strong, commanding top, though there are also beautiful tops who take charge. Most couples dote on each other. I haven’t included anything I thought was truly awful; for the ones I’ve forgotten, I vaguely remember them being decent.
