Demon Monk

A Ming was a little novice monk at a ruined temple on an obscure mountain. After he unwittingly saved a Miao girl, disaster struck and the temple was destroyed. The girl's name was Miao Sanyue. It seemed she possessed a peerless treasure and was being hunted. Miao Sanyue hid a strange Gu in A Ming's heart, set a ten-year deadline, and promised that they would survive together and avenge their lost loved ones. The two descended the mountain and entered the mortal world. When Sanyue left without a word, A Ming could only stop and sigh. Eight years passed. He took Fu Jiaojiao, a gentle heiress from a wealthy family, as his sworn elder sister; befriended Heigou, a madcap beggar with a strong sense of justice; and had the beautiful mermaid Shui Jiu by his side. At last, Sanyue returned. But when they reunited, they were worlds apart: she was a princess of the imperial clan, while he was a ragged prisoner. It was only after Miao Sanyue invited him to the capital that this absurd tale of a chaotic mortal world slowly began... Brothers turned against each other, and the woman he loved filled her mouth with lies. Step by step, he rose from the bottom to the top, dressed in splendid robes, yet no one was willing to stay by his side to the very end. It turned out that from the very beginning, everything he knew

was wrong.
